Today we took a ride over to Cripple Creek that was once the greatest gold camp in Colorado. More than 22,400,000 ounces of gold was extracted from 500 mines and over 50,000 miners were living there. Today Cripple Creek has 18 casinos, along with Blackhawk Colorado that has nearly the same number.
